Firefighter Long was born and raised in Ocean City NJ. Long attended High School at OCHS and was involved in multiple interscholastic clubs and was a 2 sport Varsity athlete partaking in a State Championship and multiple sectional and divisional titles. FF Long studied Political Science at Burlington College in Burlington Vermont. FF Long was a lifeguard with the Ocean City Beach Patrol for 10 years and served as President & Vice President of the Ocean City Lifeguard Association. FF Long joined the Wildwood City Fire Department as a part time member in May of 2010. In October of 2014 FF Long was appointed full time within the department. FF Long currently resides in the city of Wildwood and is assigned to the Delta Platoon.
FF Long hold certifications in FF1, EMT B, NJ Fire Inspector, Hazardous Materials Operations, Confined Space, Rope Rescue, Water Rescue, and Incident Management Level 3.
