On Sunday April 12th at 17:54 as shift change was occuring the Wildwood Crest FD was dispatched to 103 E. Syracuse Ave. for a reported structure fire.  WCFD F-401 arrived on scene and reported a working fire with multiple exposure problems.  F-400 Chief Harwood requested the All Hands bringing Engine Co. 38 (C Platoon) and Rescue Co. 3.  Engine 38 arrived second due and stretched a 1-3/4" hoseline through the front door of the dwelling while WCFD was beginning extinguishment of several sheds on the D Side rear of the dwelling.  Engine Co. 38 quickly opened up and prevented further fire extension into the dwelling minimizing damage to the interior of the dwelling.  The fire damaged several sheds, fences, brush, in addition to the damage to the dwelling.  Engine Co. 37 and Tower 51 covered WCFD Station 4 during the incident.  Wildwood City FD units operated on scene for about 1 hour before taking up.
